  • Christmas Fair is coming!! 3rd December

    Tue 23 Nov 2021

    Dear parents/carers,

Friday 3rd December is the Christmas fair. It has been a long time since we have been able to raise any money for the school and we are hoping this goes ahead if we can do it COVID safely.

Thinking about this we are proposing that the classes have time slots and that you could come into school during the day and visit the fair with your child or children. Alternatively, you could send your child in with a big pot of money to spend on their own. There will be an opportunity for after school for those parents who work, and the fair will carry on until 4. I am just trying to stop the after-school squash that the fair normally is.

If you have multiple children come to the slot that suits you the best and you can have all your children go round with you on this day but please make sure they go to class afterwards.

All parents will need to wear masks whilst inside the school please. Do not come if you have COVID, have been in contact with someone who has COVID or have symptoms associated with COVID. If you do not want to wear a mask please on this occasion do not attend.

    We will be having a:

    £2 book sale stall

    Adults’ tombola

    Chocolate tombola

Child’s tombola (we like a tombola!)

    Sweets stall

Cake stall (donations for this would be very welcome on the day. If homemade please remember we are a nut free school and also to write the ingredients on the top of the tub please.)

    Raffle

    Times for the day

    Foundation children - 8.30-9.30

    Year 1 9.30-10.15

    Year 2 10.15-11.00

    Year 3 11.00-11.45

    Year 4 1-1.45

    Year 5 1.45-2.30

    Year 6 2.30—3.00

The raffle will be drawn on Wednesday 8th December and winners will be notified either by text or your prize given to your child.

Any help on the Thursday night (2nd) to help set up or on the Friday is most welcomed. Either call in the office or message us.

You are also welcome to join the existing members of the PTA in the mobile classroom on a Thursday morning at 9.00am after drop off. They have been busy getting all this ready and always welcome a hand or just a new face. Thanks you so much for your help with all of this.

Now get baking, see you on the third
