Forest School is a child-centred learning process that allows pupils to grow and develop through regular sessions in a natural setting. Children are encouraged to take risks, use their imagination and explore through hands-on experiences, supported by a trained Forest School practitioner. Mrs Rawcliffe, Mrs Gibbison and Miss Law are our Forest School teachers

When will my child have forest school? 

Autumn 2

Tuesday - Year 5

Wednesday - Year 6

You will be sent a message when it's your child's turn for Forest School. 

What will I need to do?

Send your child's forest school clothes in a bag on the allocated day. The clothes need to be something you don't mind getting dirty/ torn. Depending on the weather you will need to think about suncream, sunhats, wooly hats, scarves, gloves, coats and wellies. 

Please write your child's name in all of their clothes.
