Our amazing Church Valers WOWed us with their exceptional Neurodiversity posters as part of Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2025. Here they are along with Mrs. Yardley announcing our winners.
Year 3 welcomed excited parents to their Pizza and Paint Art Exhibition, showcasing their artistic talents in the form of Van Gogh's Starry Night paintings. Parents were also treated to a delicious treat... handmade pizzas! The children chopped their own toppings, made and kneaded their own dough and served their pizzas to their families.
We definitely have some future chefs, nutritionists and artists on our hands. The possibilities really are endless for these wonderful children...
What a great day we had! We had story swaps, stop, drop and read, and our famous £2 book sale. We also listened to the library service who did their special world book day assembly. Thanks to everyone who took part you did a great job parents and staff!!

12 of our Ecowarriors helped to plant 150 trees to form the hedge at the Health Hub. This will help to protect the local wildlife and encourage biodiversity. The children had a great day planting. They had to ring a massive bell every time they planted 1! It was a very noisy couple of hours.
The High Sherriff of Nottingham came to visit us and give our children their 'Small Steps to Feeling Great' ambassador badges and certificates as they finish their course.
We had our first lantern parade around Church Warsop with around 50 lanterns and just as many of our lovely families joining us. It was a great time and felt very festive. Definitely a winner! See facebook for the video of the walk. here are some of our lanterns .....
What an amazing array of pumpkins you guys made for us. you are so talented! This is just a selecttion.
Today we had a very special visit from Charlotte Henshaw, the Paralympian from Mansfield. Charlotte recently won 2 golds at Paris 2024. She spoke to the children about how she was inspired when she was younger and worked hard to achieve her dreams of winning gold. Charlotte started her career as a swimmer and switched to canoeing. We loved the visit! Thank you Charlotte 🥇🥇
Church Vale Primary had a Rocket launch day. The children all made and tested their rockets and then launched them to see how far they would fly. Although it was a rainy day it didn’t stop the children having a great time. At the end the parents came to see the rockets fly and the launch of the dynamite rocket. ‘This has still not come back down to earth’ the children said. Everyone had a great day, it was very exciting and the children at Church Vale are budding engineers of the future.
